An Inconvenient Truth

What I learned from watching “An Inconvenient Truth” was that everyone has a major part in global warming. I also learned how dramatically countries can be affected if some of the glaciers melted. I knew that global warming was a problem and believed that it would take long for it to affect me but it will happen sooner than I believed. This means that future generations would probably not have an earth to live on for a very long time. What impacted me the most was how the sea levels would increase by 20 feet if Greenland and Antarctica melted. This would affect a lot of people in other countries that would be covered by water. That was kind of scary because it showed how eventually all of the countries would end up underwater and people wouldn’t be able to live on earth anymore. One solution that was discussed by Al Gore was to get rid of plants that released a lot of pollution into the atmosphere.
